Migration is one of the fastest pathways through which a county's population can change. At any given time, people are moving into a county and, at the same time, others are leaving the county. The net migration estimate shows the net, or overall, result of those moves.
Net migration varies dramatically across Wisconsin counties. In this series of reports, we describe net migration for all Wisconsin Counties during the 2010s. You can use these reports to draw comparisons between age groups and decades within your county, and to relate your county to other county, state, and national trends.
